Our Mission and Legacy
Traveller - The Promise is a dedicated film project capturing the ambitious motorcycle speed attempt of the legendary bike, Traveller. This documentary aims to inspire and inform audiences worldwide about the pursuit of land speed records, honoring Jamie Jones.
Traveller is an Excelsior-Henderson built with purpose, history, and a story that deserves to keep moving. Its previous owner, Jamie Jones, had one goal he never got the chance to see completed: to take Traveller to the salt flats and see what the motorcycle could truly do.
After Jamie passed away, that idea became something more than a racing goal. It became a promise worth keeping.
Now, Traveller is being prepared for the next chapter of that journey. With Mike in the saddle and the support of friends, family, and the Excelsior-Henderson community, the project will take Traveller to land-speed competition—beginning in Blytheville, Arkansas in 2026 and ultimately working toward the salt at Bonneville.
Along the way, we are documenting the people, the motorcycle, the preparation, the setbacks, and the moments that make this possible. Because this story isn't only about how fast Traveller can go.
It's about friendship. Legacy. A motorcycle community that refused to disappear.
And keeping a promise to Jamie and Marty Jones's vision and passing the torch to Mike Seastrom. Follow our progress and learn about the history behind this extraordinary endeavor.
